A guidebook to the paintings, sculptures and architecture of Padua, written by Giovambatista Rossetti and printed at the Seminary press in Padua in 1780 for travellers and local art students. The plates here are letterpress typographic ornaments: flower-filled urns and baskets flanked by scrolling acanthus, some framed as rectangular headpieces, usable as vignettes, dividers and chapter headings.
