Serviliano Latuada's five-volume guide to Milan's notable buildings, printed at the Regio-ducal corte in 1737 for local readers, antiquarians and travellers, with copperplate views of the city's churches and palaces. The plates are line-engraved elevations and sections in plain outline: rusticated arcades, window ranks, portals with heraldic crests, and Italian captions useful as architectural ornament, borders or diagrammatic backgrounds.
