Serviliano Latuada's five-volume guide to Milan's churches, palaces and public works, printed at the Regio-ducal court in 1737 for Milanese readers and visitors touring the city. Copperplate engravings give elevations, domed sections and street-level views of facades, with hatched shading, balustrades, pilaster orders and small figures and carriages usable as architectural line stock, ornament details or period staffage.
