Design book
A weaving student's design book compiled by Theo Vivian Staub at the Department of Textile Industries, Bradford Technical College, England, in 1912, kept as a working record of cloth structures and their point-paper drafts. The plates pair mounted fabric swatches in black, cream, brown and lavender with hand-inked grid diagrams in red and grey, offering ready-made half-tone textures, checkerboard fills and numbered specimen labels.
