A design for a country estate
An architecture thesis submitted by Leon Francois Urbain in 1910 at the University of Illinois, presenting a Beaux-Arts scheme for a country estate for faculty examiners. The plates are ink and pencil drawings on mounted sheets: floor plans with poch"ed walls, colonnaded courts, curved service wings, and a site plan showing drives, parterres and planting, plus one photographic negative reversal in white line on black.
