Designs for lodges and park entraces

Robinson, P. F. (Peter Frederick), 1776-1858 · 1833 · London : Priestley and Weale, High Street, Bloomsbury and J. Williams, Charles Street, Soho · 50 pictures

A pattern book of lodge and gatehouse designs by the London architect P. F. Robinson, published in 1833 for landowners, builders and estate improvers laying out park entrances. The plates are numbered lithographic elevations and perspectives in fine outline with light hatching, each small Gothic or cottage-style building shown with gables, mullioned windows, chimney stacks and rubble walling against blank sky, useful as line stock for architectural ornament, silhouettes and rustic building motifs.
