Designs of Inigo Jones and others
A folio of engraved architectural designs issued in London in 1731 by Isaac Ware, drawing on Inigo Jones and William Kent, with plates cut by Paul Fourdrinier for builders, joiners and patrons of Palladian interiors. Line-engraved elevations and sections show chimneypieces, overmantels, doorcases and ceilings in fine hatching, supplying scrolled consoles, husk swags, pediments and egg-and-dart borders for reuse.
