Determination of the degree of uniformity of bars for magnetic standards

1918 · National Bureau of Standards · 9 pictures

A 1918 technical report from the National Bureau of Standards on testing how uniformly magnetic bars behave, written for metrologists and instrument makers. The plates are line graphs on tinted stock: flat or gently bowed curves through small open circles, labelled "Induction" and "Leakage" in italic script, with truncated axis numbers and dated test runs, useful as ready-made scientific chart motifs or diagram line work.
