Deutsches Geschlechterbuch (Genealogisches Handbuch bürgerlicher Familien.)
A German genealogical handbook of bourgeois families, edited by Bernhard Koerner and issued by C. A. Starke in Görlitz from 1889 for family historians and heraldists. The plates are line reproductions of family arms: shields bearing towers, sheaves, stars and crossed swords, topped by plumed helms, winged crests and armoured figures, framed in mantling and acanthus scrollwork with lettered ribbons, usable as outline-ready crests, ornament and banner shapes.
