The devitrification of glass
A 1913 master's thesis on the devitrification of glass by Phillmer Wymond Day, submitted at the University of Illinois and read by chemists and ceramic engineers. The plates are hand-inked cooling and viscosity curves drawn on printed yellow-green graph paper, each captioned in pencil script with sample formulas, offering fine grid fields, single sweeping lines and handwritten numeric labels.
