An antiquarian study of the plan of ancient Syracuse and its coins, written by Vincenzo Mirabella e Alagona and printed by Lazzaro Scorriggio in Naples in 1613 for scholars and collectors. The woodcuts are decorated initials and small tailpieces: letters set in foliage, lilies and strapwork, with grotesque masks and hanging swags, plus coin and map engravings.
