Dictionarium polygraphicum: or, The whole body of arts regularly digested ... adorned with proper sculptures, curiously engraven on more than fifty copper plates ..
An illustrated English encyclopaedia of the arts and trades, compiled by the mathematics teacher John Barrow and published in London in 1735 for craftsmen, painters and gilders. The engraved plates give drawing exercises — hands, feet and heads plotted on proportional grids, eyes and eyebrows in outline — alongside geometric tiling patterns and perspective diagrams useful as line-art templates.
