Die Architektur der Kultbauten Japans
A German technical survey of Japanese temple and shrine architecture by Franz Baltzer, a railway engineer who worked in Japan, published in Berlin by Wilhelm Ernst in 1907 for architects and engineers. The plates are fine-line measured drawings: sections, elevations and details of curved roofs, bracket clusters, rafter framing, balustrades and ridge ornaments, with scale bars, usable as line art for pattern, diagram and structural motif work.
