Die Gartenkunst
Die Gartenkunst is the journal of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gartenkunst, issued from 1899 by the society itself in Würzburg for German landscape architects, municipal garden directors and nurserymen. The plates are halftone photographs of villa grounds, clipped hedge walks, terraces and park lawns, often credited to named designers, alongside line plans of planting beds and site layouts; useful for period garden structure, tonal foliage masses and receding axial perspectives.
