Volume of the Rhineland art-monument inventory, compiled by art historian Paul Clemen and published by L. Schwann in Düsseldorf in 1892 for provincial conservators and architectural scholars surveying churches of the Kreis Rees. Pen-drawn elevations, measured ground plans and cross-sections in flat black fill sit beside line studies of Gothic tracery, spires and gargoyles, useful for crisp architectural linework and solid plan silhouettes.
