Antonio Agustín's eleven dialogues on ancient coins and antiquities, translated from Spanish into Italian and printed in Rome in 1592 for antiquarians and collectors of Roman and Greek medals. The plates are grids of engraved coin faces in ruled frames: imperial and female portrait heads in profile with lettered legends, paired below with reverses showing standing and seated deities, temples, altars, caducei, wreaths and inscription panels, usable as roundel motifs, borders and profile-portrait stock.
