Diseases of the stomach : a text-book for practitioners and students
A clinical textbook on stomach diseases by the New York gastroenterologist Max Einhorn, published by William Wood and Company in 1906 for practitioners and medical students. The plates are fine pen-and-ink drawings: microscope fields ruled as plain circles holding scattered yeast cells, sarcinae and bacterial threads, sections of gastric mucosa drawn cell by cell, and instrument and radiograph figures — useful as sparse dotted textures, circular vignette frames, and labelled anatomical line work.
