Dispareri in materia d'architettura e prospettiva
A 1771 Milanese edition of Martino Bassi's sixteenth-century polemic on architecture and perspective, concerning work at San Lorenzo and the Duomo, edited by Francesco Bernardino Ferrari with plates engraved by Giacomo Mercori for Giuseppe Galeazzi's press and aimed at architects and antiquarians. The engravings are flat orthographic elevations and sections keyed with letters: arcades on slender columns, densely hatched fluted shafts, stepped cornices and blank wall planes, useful as line-drawn architectural diagrams, ruled framing, and fine parallel-line shading.
