Dissertatio de numis monetariorum veterum culpa vitiosis ...

Kayser, Sebastian, 1702-1739 · 1736 · Viennæ, Austriæ : Typis Mariæ Theresiæ Voigtin, viduæ · 35 pictures

A Latin dissertation on ancient coins made faulty by the errors of mint workers, written by Sebastian Kayser and printed in Vienna in 1736 by the widow Voigt for antiquarians and numismatic scholars. The plates are outline engravings of coins shown in pairs, each a plain circle holding a laureate imperial profile or a standing deity with spear, shield or branch, the legends set as capitals curving inside the rim, useful for roundel devices, circular lettering and profile portrait silhouettes.
