A 1762 guide by Antonio Maria Panni, printed by Pietro Ricchini in Cremona, listing the paintings held in the city's churches for local clergy, collectors and travellers. Its pictures are small woodcut initials, letters C and Q set in heavy ruled squares and filled with curling acanthus and foliate scrolls, usable as drop caps, monograms or square ornaments.
