Divers desseins de cheminées a la royalle
A pattern book of chimneypiece designs engraved by Antoine Pierretz and published by Pierre Mariette the younger in Paris around 1647, made for masons, joiners and architects fitting out French town houses. Each plate is a frontal elevation in fine engraved line: broken pediments, caryatids and terms, swagged drapery, cartouches, and framed roundels holding landscapes or figure scenes.
