A posthumous collection of the mathematical and geometrical treatises of Gilles Personne de Roberval, printed at Paris in 1693 within the folio volumes of the Académie Royale des Sciences for working mathematicians and academicians. The plates are engraved line diagrams: stacked tangent circles, arcs and long ruled sight-lines crossing the page, with lettered and numbered points and dotted construction lines, usable as sparse geometric linework, diagram textures, or endpapers.
