A German grimoire printed by Johann Scheible in Stuttgart in 1849, reproducing an 18th-century Coburg manuscript attributed to Doctor Faust for collectors of magical and cabalistic texts. Pages are lithographed in red and black: angel-named seals in concentric rings, star polygons, invented alphabets and looped spirit characters, useful as occult symbol sets, circular badge frames and hand-drawn letterforms.
