Drawings of the flags in use at the present time by various nations
An official reference issued by the British Admiralty in 1916 and printed in London by Eyre and Spottiswoode, cataloguing national, state, naval and rank flags then in use for the guidance of naval officers and signalmen. The 470 colour plates show each flag flat against a plain ground with a ruled staff, giving clean geometric fields, crosses, stars, crowns, crossed arms and captioned labels.
