A 1910 trade manual issued in New York by the Cassella Color Company, showing tanners and leather dyers how to use the firm's aniline dyestuffs. Mounted dyed leather swatches in browns, oxblood, ochre and near-black are captioned with recipes and lot numbers, alongside engraved bird's-eye views of the Frankfurt and Riga works with smokestacks and river barges.
