Dyestuffs for American textile and other industries
A 1915 U.S. Department of Commerce report by chemist Thomas H. Norton, printed by the Government Printing Office to guide American textile manufacturers toward domestic dye supplies. Its plates are large fold-out flow charts of coal-tar chemistry, with boxed chemical names, connecting rules and arrows, and dense hand-lettered captions useful as ready-made diagram scaffolding.
