The Eagle's call to crochet ..
A 1915 crochet pattern booklet issued by the thread and needlework firm Pratt and Farmer Co. of New York for home needleworkers. The plates are photographs of finished lace samples shot flat against black, showing edgings, insertions, medallions and picot bands as high-contrast white line on solid ground, usable as ornamental borders, rules and repeating motifs.
