Early Indiana trails and surveys
A local-history monograph by George R. Wilson, published in Indianapolis by C.E. Pauley & Co. in 1919, tracing Indian trails, early roads and land surveys across southern Indiana for state historical society readers. The plates are plain line maps: county grids, meandering rivers, dashed trail routes and hand-lettered place names, several set in decorative bamboo-style borders useful as diagram and frame reference.
