Eduardi Corsini ... epistolae tres, quibus Sulpiciae Dryantillae, Aureliani ac Vaballathi Augustorum nummi explicantur et illustrantur
Three Latin letters by the Florentine scholar Edoardo Corsini explaining Roman coins of Sulpicia Dryantilla, Aurelian and Vaballathus, printed at Livorno by Giovanni Paolo Fantechi in 1761 for antiquarians and numismatists. The woodcut ornament runs to historiated initials set in walled towns and domed cityscapes, acanthus headbands with a masked face, and an eagle perched on a scrolled cartouche.
