Educational toys and surprises from the weaver's shuttle
A 1917 instruction booklet by Marie Ebert, printed by the Morris Printing Co. in Newark, New Jersey, showing paper-folding constructions built from her patented 1914 diamond-shaped "weaver's shuttle" unit, for teachers and parents. Halftone photographs on dark grounds show folded blocks, houses, stars and rows of cut paper figures, plus a line diagram of the shuttle geometry useful for modular pattern work.
