Effect of calcining temperature of clas upon their pozzuolanic reaction

Bow, Warren Edward, Buttonmaker, Mark Adolph · 1914 · 7 pictures

A 1914 University of Illinois engineering thesis by Warren Edward Bow and Mark Adolph Buttonmaker, testing how calcining temperature changes the pozzuolanic behavior of stoneware clay, Streater shale, and kaolin, submitted for a bachelor's degree. The twelve plates are hand-drawn line graphs inked in black, red, and orange on pale orange grid paper, with hand-lettered axis labels and plate numbers, useful for grid textures, aged paper tone, and amateur draftsman lettering.
