A local architectural monograph by P. L. Dubois on the church of Notre-Dame de Verneuil-sur-Avre, printed in Rennes by Simon in 1894 for antiquarians and church historians. Wood-engraved plates give street-level exterior views of towers and spires, ribbed nave interiors receding in perspective, and details of carved ornament, usable as line stock for Gothic masonry and vaulting.
