The Electrical experimenter
A monthly popular-science magazine founded and edited by Hugo Gernsback in New York from 1913, written for amateur radio operators, tinkerers and home experimenters. Painted colour covers show wartime scenes — soldiers with electrified wire, a torpedoed liner — while inside pages carry gridded diagram plates of apparatus, coils, batteries and dynamos, plus mail-order catalogue advertising; useful for technical line diagrams, panel layouts and early twentieth-century display lettering.
