The Electrical experimenter
A monthly popular-science magazine founded by Hugo Gernsback in New York in 1913, aimed at amateur radio builders, home electricians and tinkerers who bought parts from his Electro Importing Company. Painted covers show spherical spacecraft over the moon, a figure in red working a machine on an alien ridge, and submarines tracking a torpedo under a green sea, while interior pages carry dense catalogue grids of small engraved apparatus.
