The Electrical experimenter
A bound run of Hugo Gernsback's monthly popular-science magazine, published in New York from 1913 for amateur radio operators, tinkerers, and electrical experimenters. The plates here are painted cover art in flat poster color — ringed Saturn on deep blue, a biplane dropping bombs into searchlight cones — with heavy red display lettering, plus a combed marbled endpaper and a Patent Office bookplate useful as pattern and ephemera.
