Electricity and matter
A printed edition of J. J. Thomson's 1904 Silliman lectures on electricity, matter and radioactivity, issued by Yale University Press in 1912 for physics students and general scientific readers. The figures are spare line diagrams in black ink on cream paper — labelled angles, circles and triangles, and fans of curved field lines converging on two charged points — usable as geometric marks, arrow motifs and radiating line patterns.
