Electrochemical investigation of liquid amalgams of thallium, indium, tin, zinc, cadmium, lead, copper, and lithium
A Carnegie Institution research monograph of 1909 by Harvard chemist Theodore William Richards, reporting electrochemical measurements on liquid amalgams for fellow physical chemists. The plates are line drawings of glass apparatus—stopcocks, bulbs, U-tubes, electrode wells holding pooled mercury—plus ruled graphs of plotted points and fitted lines, useful as laboratory glassware silhouettes, lettered diagram conventions, and plain scientific chart layouts.
