Christian Wolff's Latin mathematical course, published in Geneva in 1732 for university students of arithmetic, geometry and applied science; the copy indexed belonged to John Adams. The plate is a numbered engraved figure sheet: line diagrams, zigzags, folded polygons and a domed vault in fine hairline strokes with lettered vertices, useful as sparse geometric line art and diagram lettering.
