Elementa recentioris philosophiae : ex melioris notae recentioribus philosophis, excerptum, congestum, adornatum
A Latin philosophy textbook by the Mexican priest Juan Benito Díaz de Gamarra, printed in Mexico City in 1774 for seminary students studying logic, metaphysics, physics and geometry. Folding copperplate tables pack numbered geometric diagrams, lettered triangles and circles, thermometers, pulleys, a heliocentric orbit chart and an armillary sphere into gridded arrangements useful as line-diagram ornament.
