An elementary course of mathematics, designed principally for students of the University of Cambridge
A mathematics textbook by Harvey Goodwin, published in Cambridge by Deighton in 1853 for undergraduates preparing for university examinations in geometry, astronomy and mechanics. The 23 figures are bare line diagrams — arcs, radii, chords, tangents and force triangles with single italic letters at the vertices — usable as spare geometric marks, arrow-annotated construction lines, and lettered diagram fragments.
