Elementi d'architettura civile : ridotti in compendio
An Italian compendium of civil architecture by Count Nicolino Calepio, engraved after his drawings by Cristoforo Dall'Acqua and others and printed at Bergamo by Francesco Locatelli in 1784, for students and builders learning the classical orders. The plates are line engravings of arched openings framed by pilasters or columns with pediments and balustrades, each enclosing a pedestalled urn or a draped statue, giving designers ready frames, capital and entablature profiles, and ornamental vase silhouettes.
