Elementi di architettura
An architectural treatise by the Venetian architect Francesco Maria Preti, engraved by Gaetano Testolini and published in Venice by Giovanni Gatti in 1780 for builders and students of proportion. The plates are line-engraved elevations and cutaway sections of Palladian villas, showing rusticated walls, pedimented centrepieces, roof statuary and hatched interior storeys usable as precise outline architecture.
