An 1832 school astronomy textbook by John H. Wilkins, published in Boston by Hilliard, Gray, Little, and Wilkins for American academy and college students. The engraved plates are line diagrams: rayed sun discs, orbital circles with lettered construction points, gridded globes marked with zenith and horizon, and retrograde-motion charts, all usable as spare geometric figures or ornamental sun motifs.
