The Elements of Euclid : viz. the first six books, together with the eleventh and twelfth : the errors, by which Theon, or others, have long ago vitiated these books, are corrected, and some of Euclid's demonstrations are restored : also, the book of Euclid's Data, in like manner corrected
Robert Simson's edition of Euclid's Elements, books I–VI plus XI–XII and the Data, printed in Philadelphia by Mathew Carey in 1806 for students and teachers of geometry. The 195 woodcut diagrams are bare line figures on toned laid paper — inscribed triangles in circles, tangents, chords, lettered vertices and solid figures — usable as stark geometric marks and lettered schematics.
