Elements of plane and spherical trigonometry
A mathematics textbook by John Radford Young, issued in Philadelphia by Carey, Lea & Blanchard in 1833 for students of plane and spherical trigonometry, navigation, and nautical astronomy. The woodcut diagrams are small line figures: circles crossed by chords and radii, inscribed triangles, and lettered arcs, useful as spare geometric marks, compass-like motifs, or textural page ornament.
