Emblemata politica
An emblem book on political ethics by Justus Reifenberg, engraved and printed by Johannes Janssonius in Amsterdam in 1632 for readers at court and in government. Small upright copperplates set one or two figures against altars, niched statues, arcades and walled towns, with dense parallel hatching for sky and shadow; useful for isolated allegorical figures, classical architecture fragments and emblem frames.
