Embroidery hints: Fall and Winter 1910
A seasonal pattern catalogue issued by the New York Embroidery House in 1910, offering transfer designs and stamped goods to home needleworkers in the United States. The plates are outline drawings of doilies, centerpieces and mats: scalloped and lobed borders enclosing dotted rings, trailing sprays, small five-petalled flowers and scrolling stems, all drawn as thin uniform contour lines on plain ground and easily reused as circular frames, rosettes or repeating edge motifs.
