Eminent engineers; brief biographies of thirty-two of the inventors and engineers who did most to further mechanical progress
A 1906 American collection of thirty-two short biographies of inventors and engineers, written by Dwight Goddard and published in New York by the Derry-Collard Company for general and technical readers. The plates are halftone portrait heads of men in coats and stocks, some in oval vignettes, some from chalk drawings, giving soft grey tonal faces and dark bust silhouettes.
