A scholarly catalogue of the British Museum's Anglo-Saxon coin cabinet, compiled by Charles Keary and Herbert Grueber under Reginald Stuart Poole and issued by the Museum Trustees in London, 1887, for numismatists and antiquaries. Collotype plates show obverse and reverse pairs enlarged against plain grounds: cross forms, beaded borders, monograms, crude frontal portraits, and worn insular lettering usable as texture or letterform reference.
