English costume
A survey of English dress from the Norman period onward, written and drawn by Dion Clayton Calthrop and published by A. and C. Black, London, in 1906, for artists, costumers and students of historical dress. The line drawings show single standing figures in tunics, cloaks, hoods and trained gowns, with detail studies of headgear and hose useful as clean silhouettes and period garment references.
